FATE is short for Full Active Time Event and occurs periodically throughout Eorzea. Participation happens by entering the area before the event ends. When a FATE is in the area, a message will appear on the screen with the location shown on the map in a blue circle.
Rewards[ | ]
Once a FATE is complete, a window detailing the player's reward will be displayed. Rewards are distributed to all event participants and are based not only on success, but on individual contributions. The more active a player is in completing event objectives, the greater the contribution will be deemed. Contribution is indicated via the gold, silver, or bronze medal that appears in the reward window.
