Patch 3.2, The Gears of Change, was the second major version update for Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward and brings a multitude of additions and refinements to the realm of Eorzea, including new story quests, new beast tribe quests, dungeons, recipes, and more.

Notes[ | ]

Patch 3.3 contains content that can only be accessed by registering the expansion packs for Final Fantasy XIV to your service account. To distinguish between adjustments that are and are not affected by the registration of these expansions, the following notations will be used throughout the patch notes:

  • [2.0] These additions and adjustments only require the purchase of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
  • [3.0] These additions and adjustments require the purchase and registration of Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward.
  • [2.0][3.0] These additions and adjustments contain elements that may require the purchase and registration of the expansion packs noted above.

    • By pressing the Recommended Gear button in the Character window, players can see recommended gear based on the highest attributes for their class or job, and compare current gear with the recommended gear.
