Mor Dhona is a region and zone in Eorzea.

Mor Dhona is located relatively near Aldenard's heart, close to the Silvertear Lake shoreline. The area once had a bustling assortment of inns as it is a major land route blessed with beautiful surroundings. However, a powerful aetherial surge that swept through the area during the Battle of Silvertear Skies turned much of it into pure crystal. The event was undoubtedly damaging, and the area is now a wasteland enveloped in mephitic mists, despite the fact that the reason is still up for debate among researchers.

Geography[ | ]

Fogfens[ | ]

Numerous careless travelers have disappeared into the dense brume that frequently hangs heavily over these wetlands and are never seen or heard from again.

  • Revenant's Toll: This camp, which had long served as the guild's operational base in Mor Dhona, was replaced with this new village by the Adventurers' Guild. Refugees from Doma and the Scions of the Seventh Dawn continue to assist in the construction under its direction. Despite current activity, the name of Revenant's Toll's has a terrible origin because few residents had a chance to flee before their homes were destroyed by airships descending from the sky. There were so many lives lost in the destruction that only the deceased could lament their passing.
  • The Seventh Heaven: This bar, a favorite hangout for many explorers, gets its name from the highest and last heaven. On the one hand, this is a metaphor for what patrons of the establishment can anticipate when they drink there. It also functions subtly as a prayer for eternal peace for the souls of those who lost their lives in the Battle of Silvertear Skies.
  • Rowena's House of Splendors: Given that the savvy businesswoman Rowena contributed significantly to the growth of Revenant's Toll, she was given the right to a considerable portion of the town's tallest structure, which she dubbed simply, if not tastelessly, the House of Splendors.
  • The Diamond Forge: The craftsmen who work for Rowena make the weapons and armor that are offered in her House of Splendors in this smithy. For a while, the forge did well by reproducing old equipment, but as adventurers started extending their business to more distant places, such goods appear to have gone out of style recently.
  • Camp Revenant's Toll: Built by the Adventurers' Guild to aid refugees, this camp was destroyed during the Calamity. The aether became unstable due to significant changes in the local elemental balance, pushing corrupted crystals to rise through the earth and essentially destroying the camp.
  • The Tangle: These formerly healthy wetlands have been contaminated by Castrum Centri's sewage, drawing morbol in with the foul odor of decaying vegetation. Because of the intricate network of roots and vines that now covers the area, travelers have started calling it the Tangle.
  • Rathefrost: Crystallized plants stand on this ridge, serving as a permanent reminder of the Battle of Silvertear Skies. The sound the grass produces underfoot, which is similar to the faint crunch of walking on morning frost, gave rise to its name.
  • Castrum Centri: The Vllth Imperial Legion built Castrum Novum under Legatus Nael van Darnus to hold the lunar transmitter used to summon the satellite Dalamud. The institution was eventually taken control of by Legatus Gaius van Baelsar and his XIVth Legion. Since then, they have utilized it as a military stronghold and improved the location's mining and refining capabilities to make armaments.

North Silvertear[ | ]

A region that borders the lake, it is well-known for the wonders it has to offer, including the silently glistening Crystal Tower and the Keeper of the Lake, which stands above the water.

  • Saint Coinach's Find: This camp was established with the intention of unraveling the mysteries of the ancient Allagan Empire by the group of scholars known as the Sons of Saint Coinach. They not only hunt for artifacts and ruins, but also study the recently built Syrcus Tower.
  • Singing Shards: The Singing Shards, which are most frequently associated with lightning, have a distinctive and lovely ring to them that frequently gives the impression of a singing damsel.
  • The Keeper of the Lake: The Keeper, constructed from the ruins of the imperial flagship Agrius, keeps a silent watch over Silvertear Lake. It rises above the lake, encased in the deadly coils of Midgardsormr, the enormous wyrm that has long been thought to guard the region.

The Eight Sentinels[ | ]

This line of intimidating swordsmen, who keep constant watch over the Syrcus Tower, greet anyone who dare enter the forbidding spire with solemn stillness.

  • The Crystal Tower: In the twilight of their empire, the Allagans constructed the Crystal Tower, also known as the Syrcus Tower. Although nothing is known about this enormous edifice, the Sons of Saint Coinach have assumed that it was built to store the sun's countless energies.[1]
